Clap Operated Robot
Age 12-14
Description
Clap operated Robot is a robot which moves in the direction of a clap sound. The soul of this robot is a miniature condenser microphone which can pick up the clap sound and convert it into an electrical signal. This electrical signal in the form of a pulse (enabling signal) is fed to the motor driver IC L293D. The enabling pulse input to the driver will send a DC voltage to the motors so that they will start rotating and make the robot move forward. When we do not clap, the motor driver IC will not get any enabling input, so it will not send DC voltage for the motors to rotate and hence the robot will not move.
